My regular blog followers know how much addicted i am to mallu men and kerala cities. But every man gets bored of eating the same dish everytime. so i decided i'll venture out into other cities too. since nowadays i stay in north karnataka, and it is near to hyderabad, i thought of visiting the city for the weekend.
Hyderabad is a rising city. Bangaloreans would feel that they r seeing a 5years rewind of bangalore. Metro rail project is still in the starting mode, shopping malls are blooming up, new areas are being developed to accomodate the IT population which is slowly rising... this was the scene in bangalore 5years back. but Hyderabad is as big as bangalore and cleaner too. the connectivity is good, people here are very friendly, there s a decent night life. what more would a gay need!
food is something which is worthy to be mentioned. hyderabadis love food. u can see different kinds of restaurants in the city catering to all people from all over the world. and the food is really delicious. i had read about food-gasm, an orgasm by having good food. if u wanna know about it, u shld visit hyderabad. we went to one such hotel called "Chutneys" for breakfast. they served simple idli with a coconut chutney. the moment i took a piece of idli wit chutney, the flavours exploded in my mouth and i was trembling with joy, happiness. excitment, adrenaline rush everything. its like u had a perfect wild sex in just 2seconds. this was just one example. every bite i took in hyderabad was a gustatory feast. Visit Chutneys for their delicious breakfast (ask for steamed dosa), paradise hotel for their biryanis and qubani ka meetha, Nilofer cafe for Irani chai, karahi bakery for osmania biscuits.
the night-life in hyderbad is not as evolved as delhi or mumbai, but it is decent enough. the bars are open till 12am night. every saturday gay party happens and a fairly decent crowd is seen there. u can hook up hot hyderabadis there.
hyderbad had become a rice bowl of sorts in recent times. wit the IT bloom, u can see guys from different parts of country here, i got to meet a sardar guy (my first), a bengali, a bihari, a rajasthani here. its not that u cant meet them in other states also. but the natives of this city know hindi well. so people from other states find this city friendly and accomodating. even i didnt find any secular or racist behaviour. but beware of call guys, they r everywhere on the internet.
unfortunately i couldnt visit any cruising places in hyderabad this time, but from the conversation i had with native hyderabadis, i found out that these r some of the famous pick up points in hyderabad.

tips to enjoy more in hyderabad:
1) take oyo rooms. i felt they r cheaper and more better than other rooms. but before booking rooms, talk to a local gay guy in hyderbad to know which area s good to stay, and closer for guys to come over. cos its a very big city. chances are ur date might get cancelled cos of ur location.
2) bargain: autowallahs know fluent hindi. and they quote high price for the ride. so bargain before agreeing. or better off, take an ola.
